Make your very own refillable candle jar and create a scented candle to take home. Cocktails, creativity and good vibes in South London.

Introducing Cosy + Snug, the Creative Social Club fostering community, kindness and creativity. Start the new year right with an afternoon of artistic & social fun on Saturday 31 January, 1.00 PM to 4:15 PM* at The Rose Pub & Kitchen in New Cross.

This is not your ordinary candle making workshop. We’re talking cocktails, creativity, music, games and making your very own refillable scented candle from scratch. YES, the jar included! 

Here’s how it works ⬇️

You will create your own refillable candle jar using eco-friendly Jesmonite. You’ll get to choose your colours and learn different marbling techniques to give your jar a unique and polished finish. Once your jar is sealed and cured, you’ll learn how to make a scented soy candle with premium oils and crackling wood wicks. It is a full creative experience from start to finish.

The best part is, you take everything home that same night! No waiting 2 weeks to collect your masterpiece like you would do in pottery. Order candle refills directly from our site to keep your candle going for longer.

Please note: Cocktails are available to purchase from the venue bar and will be delivered directly to your table. Either scan the QR code at your table or a member of staff will attend to you.

*Arrival Time and Delays (Important Information)⬇️

Please arrive at 12:50PM for a prompt 1:00PM start. Candles + Cocktails is a fully instructor-led workshop that must be followed step by step as a group. Jesmonite and candle wax require precise timings to set correctly so, the workshop cannot be paused or started late in order for you to take your wonderful creations home on the day.

For this reason, late arrivals may not be able to take part in the workshop and we cannot offer alternative start times or guarantee participation. This is not a drop-in experience. Starting on time ensures a smooth and enjoyable event for all in attendance.
