These Terms & Conditions apply to all ticketed events, workshops, and product purchases made through the Cosy + Snug website or approved booking platforms.
By purchasing a ticket or product from Cosy + Snug (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. About Us
Cosy + Snug is a UK-based creative social club hosting ticketed events and selling related products, including candle refills.
PART A: TICKETED EVENTS & WORKSHOPS
(Including Candles + Cocktails and all Cosy + Snug events)
2. Tickets & Booking
All tickets must be purchased in advance through our website or an approved booking platform. Tickets are subject to availability and are valid only for the date, time, and event stated on the ticket.
Tickets are non-transferable without prior written approval from Cosy + Snug.
3. Arrival Time & Participation
Guests must arrive by the stated arrival time for a prompt workshop start.
Candles + Cocktails and similar events are structured, instructor-led workshops that must be followed as a group. Due to the nature of the materials used for Candles + Cocktails, including Jesmonite and candle wax, workshops cannot be paused, restarted, or repeated once they begin.
For this reason, late arrivals may not be able to participate. Where entry is permitted at our discretion, we cannot guarantee full participation or that your candle will set in time.
If your candle does not set during the workshop, you will be required to either:

take it home unset, or
-
pay for postage and delivery once it has fully cured.
Cosy + Snug is not responsible for damage that may occur during transport.
4. Refunds, Cancellations & Transfers (Events)
Tickets are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your ticket to another person by contacting us in advance. Transfers are subject to approval and must be confirmed at least 24 hours before the event start time.
Cosy + Snug reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation by us, you will be offered either:

a full refund, or
-
the option to transfer your ticket to a future event.
5. What Your Ticket Includes
Your ticket includes the workshop experience, materials required for the session, games, music and hosting by the Cosy + Snug team.
Cocktails and drinks are not included in the ticket price and must be purchased separately from the venue bar. Your instructor will explain how this works on the day.
6. Age Requirement
Cosy + Snug events are adults-only unless stated otherwise. Guests must be aged 21 or over to attend unless stated otherwise. Valid ID may be required by the venue.
7. Health & Safety
By attending, you agree to follow all instructions provided by the workshop instructor and Cosy + Snug team.
Cosy + Snug is not responsible for injury or damage caused by failure to follow guidance during the workshop.
Please inform us in advance of any relevant allergies, medical conditions, or accessibility requirements.
8. Photography & Content
Photographs and videos may be taken during events for marketing and social media purposes. If you would prefer not to be included, please inform a member of the team on arrival.
9. Behaviour
By attending any Cosy + Snug event or social, you agree to be respectful, kind, and considerate to others and to embrace creativity in a shared space.
Cosy + Snug reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.
PART B: PRODUCT PURCHASES
(Including candle refills and related products)
10. Product Orders
All product orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel or limit quantities at our discretion.
Product images, including digitally generated imagery, are for illustrative purposes only. Due to the handmade nature of our products, variations in colour, texture and finish may occur and are not considered defects. Product images may be digitally generated.
11. Prices & Payment
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the available payment methods on our website.
12. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary. Cosy + Snug is not responsible for delays caused by postal services or circumstances beyond our control.
Shipping costs, where applicable, will be displayed at checkout.
13. Returns & Refunds (Products)
Due to the nature of our products:

Candle refills and consumable items are non-returnable once opened or used.

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos so we can assess the issue.
Refunds or replacements are offered at our discretion and in line with UK consumer law.
PART C: GENERAL
14. Liability
Cosy + Snug shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot be excluded by law.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
